Manchester United failed to muster a single shot in the first half of a game for the first time since 03/04 in derbymatch v Manchester City

The Manchester derby was slightly underwhelming in the first half as Manchester United and Manchester City battled for bragging rights.

It was hardly an action-packed first 45 minutes and neither side really took the initiative.
In fact, United didn’t manage to muster a single shot during the opening period.
And this is the first time since the 2003/04 season that United have failed to have an attempt on goal during the first half, which includes blocked shots.
Not the most memorable of halves!
