Barcelona star Lionel Messi and girlfriend, Antonella Roccuzzo, have welcomed another child to the world about three years after the birth of their first son.

This follows reports of the birth of Mateo, Messi’s second son on Friday, September 11.
According to the reports, Messi missed training on Friday to attend the birth of his son, but will be available for Barcelona’s meeting with Atletico Madrid.

The Barcelona star’s brother, Matias Messi, confirmed the news on Twitter.
Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique also told reporters on Friday: “Messi is available although he didn’t train.
“He is on the list. The club gave him permission not to train today for personal reasons.”

This elating development comes just months after Antonella Roccuzzo was admitted at Hospital Espanol in Messi’s native city of Rosario, Efe following an infection.
