Soulja Boy Promises to NEVER Touch Guns Again

Soulja
Rapper Soulja Boy has vowed NEVER to touch guns again in his life (including toy guns), and this avowal came after accepting a plea deal in his weapons charge.
In January, we reported that the 26-year-old rapper was charged for illegal possession of some stolen guns and was likely to face more than four years in prison if found guilty.
Soulja Boy was initially hit with two different felony charges for weapons possessions, but they were later dropped. Unfortunately, a prosecutor decided to go with one of the felony charges.
Soulja accepted the deal after pleading ‘no contest’ to a felony guns charge. He will now serve 5 years of probation and 240 days of community labour. He will not also not be able to possess any deadly weapons or replicas, including toy guns.
On the positive side for the embattled rapper, he will be able to travel internationally for reasons including shows and work related to his career.
Truth be told, we can’t help but wonder… now that Soulja Boy isn’t getting any jail time, will he take on that much-anticipated celebrity boxing match with fellow controversial musician, Chris Brown?
We eagerly wait.
