Antonio Conte reveals Chelsea can spend the £52m Oscar money in January but would only do so wisely

Antonio Conte has revealed that Chelsea have money to spend from the £52million sale of Oscar but it is not burning a hole in their pocket.
Oscar is going to the Chinese Super League to join Shanghai SIPG and the fee from that could be used by Conte to bring in reinforcements in January.
And the Italian is confident he could bring in someone new without unsettling his squad, with midfield a particular area that Chelsea are looking at.

Asked about upsetting a winning formula by bringing in new faces, Conte said: 'When you have a good group and a new player can be added to go into the group, it's very easy in a simple way.
'For sure, we sold Oscar and we have money to spend. But it's important to spend money in the right way.
'To spend for spending's sake, I don't like this. I prefer to buy players, adapt our system, people who can come into our team and pass.
'But I repeat, it's not easy in January in this window to find these type of players. But, with the club, we are working on these aspects.'
Conte also responded to Arsene Wenger's description of Chelsea as 'super-favourites' by saying he would not let the Arsenal manager get in his or his players' heads.
