Former Arsenal player to join Manchester City

After five years at Arsenal, Arteta left at the end of last season following the expiration of his contract.

Former Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has agreed to join Manchester City for a place in Pep Guardiola’s backroom team.
After five years at Arsenal, Arteta left at the end of last season following the expiration of his contract.
The 34-year-old has chose to hang up his boot and kick off his coaching career. The former Everton midfielder has been working on his coaching badge.

Although he was offered a coaching role in Arsenal’s academy, the Spaniard has chose to join his friend Guardiola in City.
