Odion Ighalo: How Nigerian striker was snubbed at Watford End of Year Awards

Despite finishing as Watford highest goal scorer this season,  Odion Ighalo was snubbed at the club’s end of season awards.

He scored 18 goals in general as Watord also impressed in the FA Cup where they were beaten in the semi-final.
The striker was beaten by Goalkeeper, Heurelho Gomes to Player of the Season and Guediora for Goal of the Season.

Gomes also won the Players’ Player of the season and the Individual Performance of the Season on the night.
On-loan player from Chelsea, Nathan Ake won Young Player of the Season while captain, Troy Deeney was named the Community Ambassador of the Season.
