Wayne Rooney, David Moyes and Samuel Eto’o are expected to storm Port Harcourt for a testimonial game in honour of Joseph Yobo.
Yobo confirmed this at a press conference which held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday, March 8.
Tagged ‘The Joseph Yobo Centenary Game’ the encounter is being put
together by the Joseph Yobo Foundation in partnership with the Rivers
State Government.
Other players like Yaya Toure, Vincent Enyeama are expected at the event are also penciled down.
The now retired centre-back was the first player to get a 10 caps;
representing the national team at three FIFA World Cups and six Africa
Cup of Nations tournaments in the process.
Yobo’s last appearance for Nigeria was against France in a round of 16 match at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
