Viveash's 2014-15 UEFA Youth League champions took another step towards
retaining their trophy with a commanding 3-1 victory against Dynamo Kiev
on Wednesday afternoon.
The
victory ensures the Chelsea youngsters will going into their Group G
clash against Porto knowing a victory will mean automatic qualification
into the last 16.
Swiss
starlet Miro Muheim handed Chelsea the lead with his first goal for the
Under 19s after holding his run and slotting home a Mukhtar Ali cross
after 25 minutes.

The
opening goal seemed to spark Kiev into action though as chances came
and went for Bogdan Mykhaylichenko as Blues stopper Bradley Collins made
a string of impressive saves to keep the scoreline at 1-0.
The
visitors were level just 50 seconds into the second half when
18-year-old striker Olexiy Schcebetun pounced on a mistake from Joseph
Colley before finishing well past Collins in the Chelsea goal.
Chelsea
frontman Tammy Abraham was on the end of a brilliant team move to put
the home side back in the lead just before the hour mark.
Christie-Davies,
Kyle Scott, Josh Grant and Ali were all involved in the build-up play
which saw the ball move from left to right before Grant aimed a perfect
cross into Abraham who headed home from six-yards.
The
game was far from over though as Kiev continued to push for a goal and
the away side thought they'd found the equaliser when Schcebetun flashed
a header just across goal.
And
it wasn't until the fourth minute of stoppage time when Chelsea sealed a
crucial victory as Abraham turned in a good cross from Muheim to grab
his second of the afternoon.
