Former President Goodluck Jonathan was
spotted at the Port Harcourt International Airport, in Rivers state on
Wednesday, September 16.
Jonathan was said to be on his way to Abuja.
The photos were shared on Facebook by George Turnah, special adviser
to the managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission
(NDDC), on Youths/Sports Development, who some refer to as Jonathan’s
adopted son.
The former president was dressed in his trademark South-South outfit but this time, he was without his bowler hat.
He was escorted by Turnah and security operatives.
Jonathan has been a bit scarce since he handed over to President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29. After handover, he was first spotted with some Nigerians at Heathrow Airport, in UK on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
