Lionel Messi refuses to rule out eventual move to the Premier League... so, could Barcelona star someday move to England?

Lionel Messi has refused to rule out an eventual move to the Barclays Premier League.

It was claimed this week that Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City approached the four-time Ballon d'Or winner previously with the Argentina international open to leaving Barcelona.
Messi's recently row with tax authorities in Spain led to speculation that the 28-year-old is prepared to leave due to the extensive media coverage on the case.

Asked if he could leave La Liga, Messi said: 'I don't want to look too far ahead.
'I live for the moment and at this moment I am with Barcelona in La Liga where I've made my living and I live very well.'
Messi could appear in court along with his father, Jorge, after being accused of defrauding the Spanish tax office of €4.1million (£2.9m) between 2007 and 2009. Both deny any wrongdoing.
The star is currently sidelined after suffering a knee ligament injury last month during Barcelona's win over Las Palmas. It could rule him out of El Clasico with Real Madrid on November 21.
Messi has been at the Nou Camp since he was 13 with a current contract that runs until 2018.
