Guardiola Reportedly Agrees Man City Deal

The Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola has verbally agreed a move to the Etihad after conversations with Manchester City director of football Txiki Begiristain, according to a report on Mundo Deportivo.
It is believed that Man City have commenced preparations for next term after a disappointing campaign last season which failed to reach the club’s high expectations.
Although the Manuel Pellegrinni side currently sit at the top of the EPL log, it is believed that the board has passed vote of no confidence on the 62 year old Chilean following his team’s slow start to their Champions League campaign.

 season at Bayern, and talks have yet to begin on a renewal despite other clubs sniffing around the 44-year-old.
However, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern Munich CEO recently spoke on Guardiola’s contract expressing confidence the former Barcelona coach will be extend his contract.

He said: “I am optimistic about Pep’s renewal. We have a great offer on the table, which you cannot just shove aside. We have a first-class team, a fantastic club, a great stadium and a wonderful city to offer.
“We will have a serious conversation with Pep in the upcoming weeks and we will see what comes from that. I want to win the Champions League again – with Guardiola in charge.”
Meanwhile, former Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson recently disclosed whom he chose as a replacement before the appointment of David Moyes at Old Trafford.
According to Ferguson, Pep Guardiola was his chosen replacement at the Old Trafford.
