The daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Zahra, has become a brand ambassador for the sickle cell aid foundation (SCAF).
The foundation writes about Zahra:
“Zahra is an amazing
young woman committed to service to humanity. She is no stranger to the
sickle cell disease as it has affected close relatives. She is totally
committed to our cause of breaking the sickle cycle in Nigeria. We are
so pleased to have her officially on board the SCAF team.”
Speaking during her official unveiling, the president’s daughter revealed that she lost a sister to sickle cell.
She said:
”I lost a sister three years back to sickle cell so I know what it’s like to lose a loved one”.
Zahra, a medical microbiology student of the University of Surrey in England,
has also recently become new ACE charity ambassador at large.
Buhari’s daughter also speaks about her interest in politics, aim in her life, some duty chores and many others things.
