General Tukur Buratai visited troops at Mafa, Dikwa and Logomani.
Besides that he addressed the refugees, reassuring them of quick victory
over the Boko Haram terrorists.
Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai yesterday
inspected troops at Mafa, Dikwa and Logomani in troubled areas of Borno
state, controlled until recently by Boko Haram militants.
He commended the troops of 112 battalion located in Mafa for their dedication in fighting Boko Haram militants.
On the way from Mafa to Dikwa suspected Boko Haram militants tried to
ambush Buratai’s convoy. One soldier was killed while several others
were wounded. However,
the troops under Buratai’s command returned fire, killing at least five
terrorists and capturing five more Boko Haram members.
Upon arrival to Dikwa Tukur Buratai addressed to the crowd of
refugees, assuring them that Nigerian troops under his command will do
anything possible to crush vicious Boko Haram sect in the shortest time
possible.

Soldiers listened to their chief carefully expressing their readiness to fight Boko Haram terrorists until the end.
Tukur Buratai arrived Maiduguri on Friday with the purpose to inspect
troops fighting Boko Haram terrorists in the most dangerous areas of
north-eastern Nigeria.
Chief of Army Staff made a brief stop at Mafa, addressing the troops of the 112 battalion. Tukur Buratai told the soldiers that “we all know we have a task to clear this general area of these criminal elements once and for all so that we all can go back to our normal soldiering business”. He also assured troops that Muhammadu Buhari promised him to provide troops with everything needed to crush Boko Haram insurgency.

Some

from other soldiers because he has no belly unlike other Nigerian
generals.
