Capital One: Nigeria-Born Striker Scores Another Beauty!

England youth international and Arsenal loanee, Chuba Akpom, has continued his blazing form for Hull City football club of England.

Akpom puts ‘The Tigers’ ahead in the 92nd minute against Accrington Stanley; a game which was decided by penalty shootout after it ended 2 – 2. Hull won the match 4-3 on penalties.

Hull City have now qualified for the next stage of the Capital One Cup which Chelsea won last season. The striker who still has a chance to play for his father-land, Nigeria, also netted Hull’s second goal against Huddersfield Town in the opening fixture of the season.
Also, Millwall FC were surprisingly evicted out of the Capital One Cup when Nigeria’s youngster, John Akinde’s 11th minute goal helped Barnet win two goals to one.
Akpom is an Arsenal player on loan to Hull
Akpom has represented England at youth international levels, but can still play for the Nigerian national team according to Article-17 of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) codes.
