Stunningly beautiful Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic,
was at her best yesterday when she mentored students at one of the
leading private schools in Lagos, The White Dove School.
The
award winning actress was invited to be the guest speaker at the 3rd
Annual Innovation Fair of the school. Rita spoke to the students on how
to be focused and how to achieve their goals in life. The school’s
annual innovation fair is aimed at discovering young talents while in
their prime. Rita’s audience includes both the primary and secondary
school students of the school and their teachers.
Rita
not only mentored students at the school, she was also honoured by the
school authorities with an award for her contribution to the society at
large. The award plaque was presented to her by the school proprietress,
Mrs Yemisi Adekoya.
The school had made no mistake in going for Rita Dominic as the guest speaker for this fair because Rita knew what she wanted to be in life from a very young age. Rita started acting right from when she was young and in primary school. She had featured in various school performances while in school. She also gained experience in acting during children’s television shows in her home state, Imo State. In 1998, Rita made her debut in the Nigeria movie industry in the movie “A Time To Kill”.
