How K-Peace emerged winner of Nigerian Idol Season 5

Kunle Ogunrombi (K-Peace) over the weekend emerged the winner of the fifth edition of the Nigerian Idol, beating another contestant, Dolu into the runner-up position as well as 29 other contestants to the ultimate prize.
K-Peace smiled home with a cash prize of N7.5 million, SUV car, and a recording deal with Universal Music Company.
An excited K-Peace after winning the competition, said: ‘I am overwhelmed getting to this stage today because I faced tougher and amazing talents, especially Dolu. I thank the sponsors of this competition for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dream.’
The grand finale which held at Dream Studio, Omole Phase 1, Lagos also had Nigerian-French singer, Asa, who thrilled the audience with songs from her new album, Bed of Stone.
The first runner, Dolu, also won N1.5million, a Galaxy Tab, a phone and an iPod.
Pas winners of Nigerian Idol include, Season 1 – Yeka Onka, Season 2 –Mercy, Season 3 – Moses and Season 4 – Evelle.
