Marques Houston: Singer converts to Jehovah Witness

Marques calls himself Brother Houston on Instagram and has been propagating the gospel of Christ.

American singer, Marques Houston is now a Jehovah’s witness. The actor shared photos on his Instagram account showing him preaching the gospel door to door.

"Had so much fun today out in service with the guys! #fieldservice #jw," he captioned a photo. "Out in Service Day 3 #covisitweek #WhoReallyControlsTheWorld #JW I love being out in Service doing Jehovah's work. #JesusWentDoorToDoor that's why we do it," he captioned another.

Calling himself Brother Houston on Instagram he is seen in a dress shirt and suspenders in another picture holding up the group’s book with the message, “who controls the world" written on the first page.

Houston had been out of the spotlight for some time. He rose to fame in the 1990s with his group Immature, later known as IMX, and eventually went solo in 2003.

He made his acting debut in the animated comedy film "Bébé's Kids".
