Nonso Diobi: Actor dissociates himself from fraudulent Instagram account

So, few hours ago, an Instagram account with the handle @nonsodiobi1 made a call to fans asking for help as his sister and nephew had been kidnapped.

Seems like fans have being following the fake Nonso Diobi on Instagram unknowingly.

So, few hours ago, an Instagram account with the handle @nonsodiobi1 made a plea with fans asking for help as his sister and nephew had been kidnapped.
The fake account claimed that the kidnappers are asking for 150 million naira and he needs the help of his fans to gather that sum.
But the Nollywood actor, Nonso Diobi took to Instagram with the handle @nonsodiobi disassociating himself from the fraudulent post.

He wrote, "Hi everyone, pls note: nonsodiobiofficial, nonsodiobi1, realnonsodiobi, nonsodiobiworld or any other form of my name on instagram, twitter or facebook are all fake and fraudulent accounts. No matter how authentic they look, disregard their posts and report. I've never used more than one acct on any social media. Thanks.

Nonso Diobi who is blessed with movie star good  looks, joined Nollywood in 2001 and has featured in several movies to date. In 2008 and 2009 respectively, he won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
