Former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama on Sunday, February, 21 played in his 100th Ligue 1 game for French clubside, Lille.
Enyeam joined Lille in June 2011 on a three-year contract and made his debut in October against Inter Milan in the 2012 UEFA Champions League group stage, where Inter managed a 1–0 victory.
After
a loan move out of the club, Enyeama returned to Lille and finally
became the first choice goalkeeper in the 2013/14 season.
He completed his 100th Ligue 1 game for Lille in Sunday's Sunday's 1-0 win over nine man Olympique Lyonnais at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
After
the game he took to his Instagram to thank his teammates, his coaches,
medical staff and Lille's esteemed fans, for their support.
He
also pleaded with the Ligue 1 referees to stop issuing him unwarranted
cards after he was booked for the sixth time in his fifth season at the
club.
"We keep counting," he wrote on Instagram before writing; "Referees please stop giving me cards."
