The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) has debunked claims that he is in London for a medical trip, after the opposition party had in several ways proved the retired general was in London for medical treatment. He maintained that he traveled to the European City to find “some relative peace”.
“After visiting 35 states and holding town hall meetings in Lagos, Kano and Abuja and having forced on me six weeks of holidays, I have to get away from Nigeria to get some relative peace that is what brought me here”, he told Channels Television London in an exclusive interview.
He added that Nigerians “have been seeing me on the television, hearing me on the radio; I never had any health problem”. Continue...
