made of black; the 2015/2016 BPL season has been full of non-stop
excitement!
After nine months of so much
action and drama, the BPL season has finally come to an end. The last
games of the BPL took so many turns as the results saw Arsenal overtook
Tottenham to land the second spot.
Manchester City and Manuel Pellegrini secured the 4th position beating Manchester United to it. Sunderland escaped relegation leaving Newcastle, Norwich and Aston Villa relegated.
The drama didn’t stop off the pitch, this season, Nigerians were captivated by the biggest ever BPL promotion run by Guinness with ‘Every Minute Made of Black’.
Over
3 million entries, 1.3m winners, $850k equivalent winnings, Guinness
brought even more intensity and celebration to the season.
Over
the last few months, Guinness has criss-crossed the entire length and
breadth of Nigeria – from Lagos, to PH, Abuja, Enugu, Benin, to
celebrate winners and provide magical football moments for Guinness
lovers.
On Sunday, Guinness rolled out the drums
in grand style to celebrate the end of the BPL season, winners and
consumers were treated to an evening of football and entertainment at
the Old Skool bar, National Stadium Surulere. Indeed it’s been a season to remember with Guinness!
