Arsenal continue their claim to the Premier League title with a 2-1 home win over Manchester City on Monday, December 21.
Mesut Ozil was again at the center of both goals bringing his number of assists this season to 15.
City started the game brightly although they couldn't get any clear cut chance.
A moment in this match that will be remembered for a long time- when Kevin De Bruyne tried to take a quick short corner, forgot the pole was between his foot and the ball, kicked it and almost fell over.

He however had the first chance of the game in the 23rd minute as he struck a shot which Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech tipped around at the near post.
Arsenal's first chance came later from an Ozil cross from the left that Joe Hart tried to punch clear but merely brushed with his knuckles instead.
De Bruyne also missed a chance as he struck a shot wide with David Silva in good position. The Spanish midfielder was frustrated by his teammate's decision.
With the game looking like what will end in a goalless draw, Arsenal took the lead in the 33rd minute.
Ozil picked up a ball in the middle and found Walcott who struck a fierce angle drive into the corner beating Joe Hart.

Arsenal nearly doubled their lead in the 36th minute from an Ozil corner which was met by Laurent Koscielny but cleared under pressure at the far post.
The Gunners were running the game and got a deserved second in the 45th minute.
Ozil, again, picked up a ball from midfield and played a deft pass to Olivier Giroud who played a low shot between the legs of Hart to score Arsenal's second.

City brought in Raheem Sterling in the second half as they tried to chase the game but Arsenal remained firm and resolute.
Arsenal could have extended their lead but Joel Campbell missed a sitter from eight yards in the 53rd minute and and Giroud also went close soon after.
Hart saved from Campbell and Aaron Ramsey before Yaya Toure pulled a goal back for City in the 82nd minute.
After a series of exchange of passes, the midfielder stuck a shot with his left which went over Cech.
