Son Heung-Min has signed for Tottenham for £21.9million from Bayer Leverkusen and was immediately handed the No 7 shirt.
Though
the South Korean can operate as a wide player, he has been bought to
support Harry Kane as Tottenham's main striker, penning a five-year
contract. The deal is subject to a work permit and international
clearance.
West
Brom's defiant stance on Saido Berahino has forced Tottenham to
accelerate their bid for Son, who scored 21 goals in 58 Bundesliga
starts for Leverkusen.

It now
remains to be seen whether Spurs test the Baggies' resolve further for
Berahino, while Son has enjoyed Champions League experience with
Leverkusen over the last two seasons.
He's found the net 11 times in 44 appearances for South Korea, including one during last summer's World Cup in Brazil.
'Spurs for me is such a big club and a really good team,' Son said.
'My
goal has always been to play in the Premier League and Tottenham have
given me a great opportunity to do that and I am really happy to have
the chance to come here.
'I
love the Premier League and I am very excited to play at White Hart
Lane. I have not played there yet but I'd Iove to go out there, show my
abilities and perform for the Spurs fans as soon as possible.'
'It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League,' Son added.
'I
played against Chelsea before when I started my first season at
Hamburg. I scored so I have pretty fond memories of that match, but in
the Premier League there are lots of good players and good teams so I
have to be prepared to work really hard to show my ability.
'I played many games and gathered much experience for my age and that makes me play better and score goals.
'Many
fans have supported me at my past clubs and complimented me on my play.
This motivates me more and I work even harder because of this.'

Son was all smiles as he underwent a medical at the club's training base in Enfield

Son has been lauded by those in Germany during his time at Bayer Leverkusen
As well as goalscoring, it is his creative nous which has drawn plaudits in Germany.
'He
does not only score beautiful goals, but also makes them,' said Franz
Beckenbauer. 'He's a super player. I really like the way he plays - fast
and dynamic.'
Spurs
have been keen to revamp their strikeforce over the summer, with
Roberto Soldado allowed to leave Villarreal and Lyon's Clinton Njie
signing for £10m.
Emmanuel
Adebayor looks as if his days at White Hart Lane are coming to an end,
but Mauricio Pochettino went into the season with just one recognised
striker in Kane
