SEE How Ayodele Fayose Called President Muhammadu Buhari

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state harshly criticised Muhammadu Buhari, claiming that his policy threatens the unity of the country.
Fayose blasts Buhari over northern appointments, calling him the president of the northern Nigeria.
The president of northern Nigeria – this is much more appropriate title for Muhammadu Buhari in Ayodele Fayose’s opinion.
Governor of Ekiti state issued a statement on Monday, criticising Muhammadu Buhari’s latest appointments in his cabinet.

In his statement governor Fayose claimed that Buhari rules like the president of the northern Nigeria because from 31 major appointments made so far by Buhari the vast majority of those appointed come from the northern Nigeria, while only seven hail from south of the country.

Under Buhari, are people from Southern Nigeria only meant to be hounded and harassed by anti-corruption agencies and the Department of State Security (DSS) while those from the North are meant to enjoy federal government juicy appointments?” Fayose peppered his statement with a rhetorical question.

Fayose also added that “they said Buhari made the appointments on merit and I wish to ask whether there are no competent people in the APC in the southern part of Nigeria, especially south-east where no one has been appointed.

Are they saying Igbo leader like Ogbonnaya Onu, who graduated with a first class honours degree in chemical engineering at the University of Lagos, is not competent to be appointed as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF)?” he concluded his statement with another question.
There was drama in Ekiti state this morning as Governor Ayodele Fayose lurked-around the state secretariat to fish-out perpetual late comers.
The governor showed up unexpectedly at the government facility around 8.10am in the company of the head of service.
There had been reports that civil servants were showing a nonchalant attitude to work, so the governor surprised them with a personal visit.
