Everton manager Roberto Martinez has denied reports saying that defender John Stones has handed in a transfer request.
England international Stones, 21, has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea.
But
at a press conference on Friday ahead of Everton's encounter against
Manchester City, Martinez said he is 'not aware' Stones has expressed a
desire to leave and reinforced his stance that he wants to keep the
defender at Goodison Park.
