Fifa and said it had co-operated fully with the authorities.
Swiss police said last month that they were looking into how the upcoming World Cups were allocated.
America's FBI has also launched its own investigation into corruption at Fifa.
IT data from the offices of Fifa's secretary general Jerome Valcke and the organisation's financial chief Markus Kattner is also believed to have been handed over.
Fifa reiterated that they instigated the inquiry and that they are, according to the Swiss Attorney General, the "injured party".
