Today is popular comedian and singer, Julius Agwu and prolific music video director, Moe Musa's birthday.
Born, April 7, 1973, Julius Agwu is a comedian, musician, actor who was born to Chief Augustine Amadi Agwu and Mrs Mary Agwu.
His secondary school education was at Government Secondary School in Borokiri, Port-Harcourt and later on Akpor Grammar School in Ozoba where he was the social prefect and President of the Dramatic, Debating and Cultural Society.
He later studied Theater Arts at the Diploma level from the University of Port-Harcourt with
specialization in acting and followed suit with a degree programme (BA)
in directing still at the University of Port-Harcourt.
He was the best student in the graduating class of the year in 1997. He founded a genre of music in Nigeria known as musicomedy and it earned him different awards nominations.
He has also taken comedy shows to different parts of the world like Atlanta, Maryland, London, among others.
Born in Nigeria and raised in London, Moe Musa’s early experiences on set inspired his passion for filmmaking.
He graduated from Thames Valley University with a degree in Media Technology and spent the next few years perfecting his craft shooting several videos for artists including Stylo G and D’banj.
Moe’s breakthrough video for the song ‘Antenna’ by Fuse 2ODG brought him attention on an international level. He has since gone on to shoot videos in Nigeria, France, Amsterdam, America, Cyprus and South Africa.
His videos have been featured on MTV Base, BET, Channel O & TraceTV.
