Fally Ipupa solicited for forgiveness of Olomide following an outrage resulting from the singer's assault of a female dancer at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Kenya.
Legendary Congolese star, Koffi Olomide, has made a big return to singing, at a recent stage performance to celebrate Fally Ipupa's ten years in music.
Tuko Kenya News, in a recent report confirmed that Olomide was part of the stars that headlined Ipupa's anniversary.
The 60-year-old singer was arrested in July at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Kenya, for assaulting one of his female dancers.
His arrest was initiated following a viral video where he was seen in a feat of anger, kicking a light skinned lady in the stomach.
According to Tuko Kenya, Fally Ipupa made an appeal on behalf of his mentor, urging everyone concerned to put the incidence behind them.
“Koffi is like my father, so I apologise to Kenya for what he did,”
"I
apologise to every Kenyan, every mother and every African. If your
father does something wrong all you can do is apologise on his behalf.
So from me to you, I am sorry”, he said.
