The actress' representative revealed that she had sustained injuries
following an accident involving a horse. She was reported to have
broken some bones.

Hollywood actress, Uma Thurman,
has sustained injury and is currently receiving treatment at the
hospital after falling off a horse.
This was confirmed by her representative on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, who told Page Six, about the incident in a press statement.
The rep said, "Uma was in an equestrian accident,"
"She was training on a young thoroughbred who got spooked. She was thrown and broke a few bones."
There are no reports concerning if Thurman’s upcoming movies, The Bay of Silence and The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, which are in preproduction, will be affected due to her injuries.
The actress rose to international prominence in 1994 following her role in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.
This earned her nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe Award.
She has featured in movies such as Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), The Accidental Husband (2008) and Les Misérables (1998).
