Fetty Wap's fast rise to the top of the rap game might soon come tumbling down because of baby mama issues.
Fetty WapIn 2015, American rapper Fetty Wap shot up the charts with his rhythmic and infectious single ‘Trap Queen’. He followed the ride-or-die song with follow up singles such as ‘679’ and ‘My Way’ which were relatively successful.
With three hit singles in a row, Fetty Wap became the latest Hip Hop star produced from the shores of America. Snagging a remix with Drake and feeding off the buzz of his one eye Fetty Wap basked in his newfound fame and success.
The honeymoon would be end quickly when Fetty Wap’s baby mama troubles started and started appearing on gossip blogs. At the age of 25, Fetty Wap has three kids from three different women and he recently made the news after an online fight with one of them.
On Wednesday, June 29, 2016, Fetty Wap got into a heated exchange with his third baby mama reality TV star Masika Kalysha on Twitter. The subject of their fight was their daughter Khari Barbie Maxwell who was born in March.

The relationship between Fetty Wap and Masika Kalysha have been rocky to say the least. Kalysha did not reveal she was having Fetty Wap’s baby until she was six months pregnant. The rapper vehemently denied he was the father of her child calling her a ‘groupie’ and a ‘jumpoff’. After much back and forth Fetty Wap accepted the baby.

Fetty Wap’s relationship with his second baby mama Lezhae Zeona is also fractured. In November, 2015 a video of Fetty and Zeona arguing got online. In the clip she was holding a knife and screaming at the rapper. Fetty Wap was also making threats at her.
The only baby mama Fetty Wap has a good relationship with his his first baby mama Reese. She is the mother of his first child, a five-year-old son. Fetty and Reese have known each other for 11 years and he wrote the song ‘Trap Queen’ for her.

Music analysts have studied Fetty Wap’s talent, career and are doubtful that he will have a long career in the music game. Fetty Wap rode on a trend and it seems he can’t sustain the buzz around him anymore. It’s a safe bet to say that he is a flash in the pan.
With a career that is shaky, having three baby mamas to cater for and other girlfriends to maintain is a recipe for disaster. If Fetty Wap wants a long career he needs to strap up and stop hanging around women who want something from him. It won’t be surprising to find out that a large chunk of his money goes towards child allowance.
In summary Fetty Wap is not different from the stereotypical rapper who has baby mama drama.
