The official theme song of the Euro 2016 which was written by David Guetta has been released.
Titled ‘This One’s For You’, the record features 18-year-old Swedish singer Zara Larsson and also recorded with the help of one million fans around the world through the help of a special online app.
The song will be played during the opening and closing sequences of every TV match broadcast and an edit of the fan recordings will be played every time a goal is scored.
Guetta will perform the song at the competition’s opening ceremony at the Stade de France. The French DJ will also perform a free concert at the Champ Mars in Paris on June 9, 2016, the eve of the tournament.
"It is incredibly exciting to be part of this huge football tournament in my home country," Guetta said earlier in the year.
"Music and football go hand in hand. We want the fans to be at the very heart of everything that we do."
UEFA president Michael Platini added: "We wanted to work with David Guetta because he has proven throughout his career that he can create music which inspires people all around the world. David's music has great energy so we look forward to seeing and hearing him add to the spirit and atmosphere of the tournament."
