Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has been invited by the Federal House of Representatives to answer questions about his resignation as team manager.
He is to be accompanied by Minister of Youths & Sports, Mr. Solomon Dalung who has been a mediator in Oliseh's issues with the Nigeria Football Federation.
The ex coach is expected to answer questions concerning the circumstances that has led to his resignation in late February.
According to a source from the National Assembly, who told The Vanguard, “Oliseh has been invited by the committee on sports. He is to give his own side of his resignation story,”
In
his resignation letter directed to the Secretary of the NFF, Oliseh had
claimed that some of the reasons for his resignation is based on the
non commitment of the Glass House to the cause of the team.
He cited delay in funds and shabby management at the administrative level as part of the reasons.
According to Oliseh, "When
I sought their aid to effectively carry out my duties I was ignored and
instead of the helping me getting the players to give their best and
placing them in a very good conditions at an advantages to the team
play, they had plans to derail the progress of the team's chances."
The
Minister of Youths & Sports, who has always been interested in the
former coach insisted on being present at the meeting with the House of
Reps committee who summoned the Oliseh.
