Salah Abdeslam had been wanted for 126 days for the direct
involvement in terrorist shootings and bombings that claimed the lives
of 130 people in Paris.
One of the most wanted suspects behind Paris attack last year November has been apprehended by the police.
Identified as a 26-years-old named Salah Abdeslam, he was captured in a police raid in Brussels on Friday, March 18, Belgium's justice minister confirmed to Reuters.
It was also gathered that during the raid the fugitive engaged the police in a gun shootout at Molenbeek district of Brussels which left him with a wounded leg.
Salah Abdeslam whose location was known after his fingerprints were found at
the scene of another raid in Brussels this past Tuesday, March 15 was
said to have flee France for Belgium after the barbaric attack last
November.
