Wizkid's baby mama drama continues to haunt him as his baby mama claims he is a dead beat father.
In 24 hours, 25-year-old pop star Wizkid has received a double dose of not too good news.
Earlier in the day Hip TV posted a video on YouTube of the singer refusing to speak about his alleged second child.
Wizkid
when asked by a Hip TV interviewer about his alleged baby mama put two
hands together, flashed a charming smile, hugged the reporter and walked
away.
A few hours later,
blogs started carrying the story that Wizkid has so far refused to go
for a paternity test to determine if the baby is his.
An inside source reportedly close to Wizkid's baby mama Binta Diamond Diallo said Wizkid hasn't taken up his responsibilities as a father. "Wizkid
is refusing to accept the baby, and he’s not paying child support. He’s
also refusing to make himself available for a DNA test to determine the
paternity of the baby" said a source who spoke to Y Naija.
The source further said "in
the US, they take such things very serious as his hide and seek with
the mother of his child may also affect him, whenever he’s trying come
in and go out of the country."
On January 26, 2016 Binta Diamond Diallo spoke to US celebrity site The Shade Room and claimed that Wizkid had not seen his son and was on his way in being a dead beat dad.
She also said that he hasn't shown much interest to his new son. Binta wants him to step up to his responsibilities.
A day before Wizkid's management sent a statement to Pulse in regards to the story that he had fathered a new baby son.
"News
getting to us is that Tania broke up with Wiz a while ago but both
parties agreed to be friendly towards each other. Nonetheless, she kept
her distance from him and missed a lot of his events and performances
over the Christmas holidays. She went on vacation with her friends in
Dubai during his industry night event. Wizkid was probably trying to win
her back when he tweeted "T baby forever" sometime ago, perhaps he was
trying to work things out.
"Wiz
still hasn't confirmed any news about him having another child...We know
he's single and he'll be releasing his EP next month" read the statement.
This
is not the first time Wizkid is denying having a child. In 2011 the
father-of-one denied having a son when he spoke to NET. He also
maintained this stance in another in interview. The following year he
still denied having a son in an interview with Nonye Ben-Nwankwo of The Punch.
It would take Wizkid two years to admit he had a child. In October 2013 the pop star shared a photo of his then 2-year-old son Boluwatife Balogun on his Instagram account.
Is this what we should expect in Wizkid's new baby mama drama?
