Champions League: Arsenal to face Barcelona in round of 16

Arsenal will face Barcelona in the second round of the Champions League while Juventus have been drawn against Bayern Munich

Arsenal have been paired against defending champions, Barcelona in the round of 16 in the Champions League.

The Gunners came second in the group below Bayern Munich and have been given the hard draw against Barcelona.

Arsenal last face Barcelona in the second of the Champions League in 2011. They won the first leg at the Emirate Stadium 2-1 before losing the second leg, 3-1.

In other fixtures, Gent will face Wolfsburg, Real Madrid will play Real Madrid while Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea will meet the knockout stage of the Champions League in two consecutive seasons.

The Ligue 1 leaders knocked out the Premier League defending champions last season.

After slipping up on the last to a second in their group, Juventus will face Bayern Munich while PSV Eindhoven will play Atlético Madrid.

Benfica face Zenit while Dynamo Kyiv play Manchester City.

The group runners-up will play the first leg at home.
