Former Liverpool manager Steven Gerrard has returned to England ahead of a return to his former side.
The
former England captain started his career at Liverpool, making his
debut in 1998 and left last year after 16 years with The Reds.
The LA Galaxy midfielder has held talks with Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp about returning to the club to train during the MLS off-season.
He was pictured at the Heathrow Airport in London after his flight from Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 4.
Gerrard will meet Klopp during Liverpool’s Sunday, November 8 home clash with Crystal Palace but the manager has revealed that the former Reds’ captain is only coming back to train.
“All I can say is that I've had contact with Stevie - one phone call and a few messages," said the Liverpool boss.
"He
is a legend. If he's in Liverpool and wants to train ahead of next
season in LA that's absolutely no problem. But nothing else."
