Super Eagles and Watford striker Odion Ighalo has won the English Premier League African Player of the Month awards.
The striker has been in form for his EPL side, Watford, this season scoring seven goals so far.
Ighalo
is now Watford's all-time top goalscorer in Barclays Premier League
history and the striker has been rewarded with the award.
The 26-year-old beat off competition from Manchester City star, Yaya Toure from Ivory Coast, Southampton and Senegal international forward Sadio Mane.
The award is for Africans plying their trade in the English Premier League and is organized by New African Soccer.

Ghana's Andre Ayew of Swansea and Algeria's Leicester City forward Riyad Mahrez have won the last two editions.
