After
watching Chelsea slump to a third straight Barclays Premier League
defeat on Saturday from a hotel room, Jose Mourinho made an appearance
at their Cobham base to watch the Blues Under 21 side in action on
Sunday.
Serving
a stadium ban for a clash with referee Jonathan Moss in the defeat at
West Ham last month, Mourinho watched his side's 1-0 defeat by Stoke
City away from the Britannia Stadium.
On
Sunday afternoon at Blues HQ, however, the Portuguese coach took up a
position on the sidelines to watch Chelsea's youngsters dispatch
Liverpool 4-0 in the Under 21 Premier League.

The Blues youngster has featured fleetingly for
Mourinho's outfit since his debut against Sporting Lisbon
Chelseas
defeat at Stoke was their third successive failure in the Premier
League and seventh this season as Mourinho watched on from afar.
Chelsea's
senior stars struggled to break down a resolute Stoke defence on
Saturday, but young starlet Ruben Loftus-Cheek suffered no such problems
on Sunday.
The promising 19-year-old played in a No 10 role and scored a brilliant goal to down Liverpool at their Cobham base.
Following
Bertrand Traore's first-half strike, Loftus-Cheek doubled Chelsea's
advantage straight from a kick-off with a sublime finish.

The 26-year-old former Werder Bremen forward
improvised with an athletic effort producing a
powerful volley

Although he was unable to attend, Mourinho
did pop up in the away section on a number of occasions

Portuguese manager to the Stoke game with them

to the Britannia
Picking
up the ball just inside the opposition half, the powerful midfielder
set off on a weaving run leaving three would-be defenders trailing in
his wake before calmly dispatching the ball past Reds goalkeeper Ryan
Fulton to make it 2-0.
A quickfire double from Tammy Abraham completed the rout.
Having
progressed through the Chelsea age grade ranks, Mourinho handed
Loftus-Cheek his senior debut during Chelsea's Champions League
encounter with Sporting Lisbon in December of last year.

Loftus-Cheek,
who has been on the books at Chelsea since he was eight, saw eight
minutes of action that night as he entered the fray late on at Stamford
Bridge.
The Blues youngster has featured fleetingly for Mourinho's outfit since that high-profile debut.
With
his side currently occupying 16th place in the Premier League
standings, the watching Mourinho would have been very impressed with
Loftus-Cheek's contribution.
