Popular legendary stripper Carol Doda is dead.
Doda died Monday afternoon at St. Luke’s Hospital in San Francisco after a long stay.
Carol who rose to super fame as an OG stripper died Monday in San Francisco at the age of 78. Doda became extremely popular in the 1960s for her topless dance routines and her 44-inch silicone breasts, which became known as “The new Twin Peaks of San Francisco.”
After retiring, Doda opened a lingerie shop in San Francisco called “Carol Doda’s Champagne and Lace Lingerie Boutique.”
Her legendary act was go-go dancing on a grand piano as it descended from the ceiling using hydraulic motors. Within a decade, she eschewed her topless bikini altogether and performed nude.
