UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon has described attacks on various locations in and around Paris on Friday as despicable.
In
a statement issued in New York on Saturday, Ban condemned the attacks
in which 127 people were killed and many others injured.
He expressed optimism that the French authorities would do all in their powers to bring the perpetrators to justice quickly.
The

a related development, members of the Security Council have said that
they ``condemned in the strongest terms the barbaric and cowardly
terrorist attacks.’’
The members expressed their sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the Government of France.
They underscored the need to bring the perpetrators of the attacks to justice.
