Linus has joined her voice with those calling for more participation of women in the Nigerian politics.
The thespian said this while speaking on a radio programme called ‘Talk Your Own-Make Naija Better’.
She advocated for more involvement of women in politics so as to build a great future for Nigeria when she said:
“When we all participate in our government, we create better lives for ourselves and our children. So women, go vote, run for political offices let your voices be heard and let us all support women in this. If we don’t participate in government, we can’t create a beautiful future. So let’s create something beautiful together.”
Linus was on September 1 named an ambassador for the Stop Violence Against Women in Election (Stop-VAWIE) campaign an initiative backed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
