Mourinho Makes Guinness Book of Records

Jose Mourinho’s elite and trophy littered career has been appreciated by the Guinness book of records who presented the Chelsea boss with four certificates to celebrate five records of his.

Mourinho’s five managerial records are as follows:

1. Longest football unbeaten home run by a manager (nine years)

2. Most Champions League titles with different clubs (two)

3. Youngest manager to reach 100 Champions League matches (49 years 12 days)

4. Most points in a Premier League season (95)

5. Most games unbeaten at home in the Premier League (77)

The former Inter Milan, FC Porto and Real Madrid boss told chelseafc.com: “The fact they gave me the awards in a way that I can put them up in my office is nice. ‘It’s something fun and as a kid you could never imagine that one day you would be in the Guinness Book of Records.
“You know me, these awards are for something I did in the past and obviously it’s nice, but for me what’s more important is what I can do in the future.”

Meanwhile, Mourinho has expressed his sadness at his team’s performance so far this season, especially as the players go into the international break next weekend.

The Blues’ start to the new season has been woeful as they have picked up only a win and a draw after four rounds of matches, a situation which makes it increasingly difficult for the team to defend their EPL trophy.
