Good news reaching Naij.com indicates that former president Goodluck Jonathan is now a grandfather.
Jonathan’s daughter Faith Sakwe and her husband Godswill Edward have
welcomed their first child together. The baby girl was born in a US
hospital on September 23, Wednesday.
Faith is the first child of Jonathan. She married Godswill Osim Edward on April 12, 2014 in the capital at Abuja Ecumenical Center.
The ceremony was broadcast live on NTA, where many state governors and other dignitaries were in attendance.
The beautiful couple met at University of Calabar as students and have been together ever since.
Goodluck Jonathan was the president of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015.
On 31 March 2015, Jonathan conceded the election to the incumbent leader of the nation Muhammadu Buhari, who was sworn in to succeed him on 29 May 2015.
