Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde has on several occasions publicly supported the career of her 17-year old music producer son, Captain E.
The veteran Nollywood actress and her son met with the founder of One
Campaign and popular rock star, Bono, who has been in Nigeria for some
days promoting the ‘Strong Girl’ campaign for women empowerment.
Bono, who is known for being the front man of popular Irish band U2, listened to Captain E’s songs and gave his two cents.
Proud mama Omotola later bragged about Bono’s assessment of her son music on Instagram .
She wrote: “
With Dr sipho of #One, @iamcaptaine who Bono asked to
meet, loved and listened to his music (Bono joined @u2 age 17 too) all
at the Reception for #Bono at the Boat club. #bonosexy #povertyissexist
#africasyoungestmusicproducer #lengend standing with #stronggirls.”
