The service chiefs are being screened behind closed doors in a session which began at 11:25am today, August 4, 2015.
The Nigerian Senate is currently screening the country’s newly-appointed service chiefs , it will be recalled that the chiefs were appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on July 13.
They are Major General Abayomi Olonishakin, Chief of Defence Staff; Major General Tukur Buratai, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, Chief of Naval Staff; Air Vice-Marshal Sadique Abubakar, Chief of Air Staff; and Air Vice Marshall Monday Morgan as Chief of Defence Intelligence.
