Popular Nigerian musician, Majek Fashek has
been finally receiving rehab from his long-standing drug addiction and
we have photos to prove.
The musician who was sponsored to the rehab home by High Chief Ayiri
Emani who paid the full expense of the reggae musicians treatment.
Fashek received guests who came to see how the old musician was
faring, also in attendance was Monica Omorodion Swaida, who flew in
from the States to see how fashek was doing.
She has been one of the most voice full individuals concerning the state of Mr Fashek’s health and her joy was shared by all.
Majek Fashek first gained national fame on a television show in the early 1980s as a member of Benin-based reggae group
Jastix. His bandmates included Ras Kimono and Amos McRoy Gregg. They toured for many years with fellow reggae group
The Mandators.
