Pedro
became the third Spaniard - or fourth if you count Diego Costa - in
Chelsea's squad on Thursday after signing a four-year deal at Stamford
Bridge.
The
28 year old won 20 major trophies during his time at Barcelona but he
will now be hoping to emulate some of his talented compatriots who have
graced the Premier League.
Here, Sportsmail counts down the top 10 Spaniards to have plied their trade in England's top-flight.

10. Ivan Campo (Bolton 2002 - 2008)
After
originally joining Bolton on loan from Real Madrid in 2002, Campo
became a cult hero during a five-year permanent stay under Sam
Allardyce.
The
curly-haired midfielder made more than 200 appearances for the
Trotters, helping the club establish themselves in the Premier League
with classy displays in the heart of midfield.

9. Mikel Arteta (Everton 2004-11, Arsenal 2011 - present)
Still
going strong after more than a decade in England's top-flight, Arteta
became a fans' favourite at Everton after joining the club for a bargain
£2million from Real Sociedad.
After
seven full seasons at Goodison Park he decided the time was right to
move on, joining Arsenal in a £10m deal and going on to lift the FA Cup
in 2014.

8. Pepe Reina (Liverpool 2005 - 2014)
His
time at Anfield may have come to a sour end under Brendan Rodgers but,
for a time, Reina was arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premier
League.
The
32 year old won the FA Cup and League Cup with the Reds before falling
out of favour and joining Napoli - the club he now plays for permanently
- on loan in 2013 before sealing a move to Bayern Munich the following
summer.

7. Xabi Alonso (Liverpool 2004 - 2009)
He
may have been unable to resist the lure of Real Madrid in 2009, but
Alonso remains a firm favourite among those of a red persuasion on
Merseyside.
A
cultured midfielder with a range of passing not seen at Liverpool since
his departure, Alonso played a key role in Liverpool's memorable
comeback against AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final.

6. Santi Cazorla (Arsenal 2012 - present)
The
little magician in Arsenal's midfield, Cazorla pulls the strings for
Arsene Wenger and must be one of the first names on the Frenchman's
team-sheet on current form.
The
former Malaga man was instrumental as the Gunners won the FA Cup in
both 2014 and 2015, while his eye for a pass and skill on the ball have
won him admirers outside of north London.

5. Fernando Torres (Liverpool 2007 - 2011, Chelsea 2011 - 2015)
His
time at Chelsea may have been largely forgettable but Torres' brilliant
three-and-a-half years at Anfield earn him a well-deserved place on our
countdown.
The
Atletico Madrid man plundered 81 goals in all competitions for
Liverpool before moving south for £50m, but the less said about his time
at Stamford Bridge, the better.

4. Juan Mata (Chelsea 2011 - 2014, Manchester United 2014 - present)
Jose
Mourinho might not have fancied him much but Mata's impact on the
Premier League - 33 goals and 36 assists - is beyond doubt.
Now
a creative force in Manchester United's midfield, the 27 year old also
won two Player of the Year awards at Chelsea before leaving in a £37.1m
deal in January last year.

3. David de Gea (Manchester United 2011 - present)
His
time at Old Trafford may be coming to an end, but De Gea's rise from
unreliable youngster to the division's best goalkeeper has been a joy to
watch.
De
Gea's standout performances last season won him the club's Player of
the Year award and helped the club finish fourth. It's no wonder Real
Madrid are desperate to sign him.
David de Gea may not be a Premier League player for much longer, with Real Madrid chasing his signature
2. Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal 2003 - 2011, Chelsea 2014 - present)
One
of only four players on our list to have shone at two Premier League
clubs, Fabregas fitted in seamlessly at Chelsea after completing a
controversial move last summer, helping the club win their fourth
Premier League title with an astonishing 18 assists.
Now
disliked by many Arsenal fans following his move to west London,
Fabregas' contribution across eight years with the Gunners helps take
him to second place on our countdown.
Cesc Fabregas has settled into Chelsea's midfield with ease since joining the club from Barcelona last year
1. David Silva (Manchester City 2010 - present)
Majestic
in Manchester City's opening two games of the season, Silva has made
superb, eye-catching performances the norm during his five years at the
Etihad.
After
helping City to two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup,
it was no surprise to see Silva handed a new five-year contract in 2014.
Sit back and enjoy him.
